Paleo bread with fresh herbs

Paleo bread with fresh herbs

Most frequently missed in the Paleo Diet: The bread. Especially for us German seems to collapse a world if we are to give up bread. So we were looking for a Paleo option - and conjured up this very tasty herb bread.

For 1 Paleo Bread

Active: 10-15 minutes

Total: 45 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 200g ground almonds
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 2 tablespoons of flaxseed flour
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped herbs of your choice (we used rosemary and thyme)
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 5 eggs
  • 30 ml of melted coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon  apple cider vinegar
Preparation:
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and grease the baking tin box.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground almonds, coconut flour, flax seed meal, herbs, salt and baking powder.
  3. Eggs, oil and vinegar and add vermixen with a hand mixer.
  4. Pour the batter into the mold and for 25 - 30 minutes in the oven to give. If you put collides with a toothpick and no more dough will stick, the bread is ready.

Our conclusion: The herb bread is delicious and gluten-free

No question: The Paleo bread can compete with any bakery. The fresh herbs make things right around. If you do not have fresh herbs, dried go. Then use but less than in our recipe.

A note to the Paleo bread but you have to connect: Paleo means to make a change in diet. If you are constantly looking for a replacement for the existing food, it becomes problematic. Although the Paleo bread does not have bad side effects such as wheat bread, but it also does not provide a great deal of valuable nutrients and it has the high proportion of ground almonds quite a kick. Therefore, only from and enjoy. Who eats bread, is welcome to less space on the plate of meat and vegetables.
