Paleo Pancakes

Paleo Pancakes

A court to which you also want to do without during a Paleo diet reluctant, are the pancakes or pancakes. Whether savory or sweet, pancakes always go. There are now many Paleo recipes, we tried one.

For 8 small pancakes or pancakes

Active: 10-15 minutes

Total: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 tsp powdered vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (or butter or ghee )
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 ml coconut milk (or almond milk )
  • 3 tablespoons coconut flour
Preparation:
  1. Eggs, melted fat, vanilla extract, honey and coconut milk and smash then vermixen with coconut flour.
  2. Grease the pan and set the heat to medium high.
  3. Then place the dough into the pan, that only a small part is covered (so the pancake does not fall apart when turning).
  4. After 3-5 minutes (depending on desired brownness), turning once.
  5. Frittered gradually all the dough and put the finished pancakes possibly to keep warm in the oven.
  6. Serve best with fresh fruit such as strawberries and blueberries.

Our conclusion: A good replacement Pancake!

Tasty, but the consistency does not fit all. Those things fall apart when turning slightly. We believe that it is the coconut flour. As we will experiment again and the next time you work with ground almonds.
