Paleo granola bars

Granola bars are convenient, especially on the go. But the problem: Often, they are crammed with grain and sugar. We have experimented a bit and conjured up this paleo granola bars.

For about 10 small cereal bars

Active: 10-15 minutes

Total: 1-2 hours

Ingredients:
  • 100g macadamia nuts (unsalted)
  • 50 g of Brazil nuts
  • 50 g of hazelnuts
  • 50 g of walnuts
  • 30 g ground almonds
  • 25 g of sunflower seeds
  • 25 g pumpkin seeds
  • 100 g of dried cranberries
  • 60 g of dried dates
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 6 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 10 g coconut flakes

Preparation:
  1. Give macadamia nuts, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts and walnuts in the food processor and chop so that the largest pieces just yet have a diameter of 0.5-1 cm, a nschließend decant into a pot.
  2. The cranberries and dates shred in the same way in the food processor and add to the nuts.
  3. All together with cinnamon, almonds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds mix.
  4. Then add honey and melted coconut oil and mix properly until a thick mixture is obtained.
  5. The mass in a greased oblong baking dish fill box and press together firmly.
  6. Sprinkle coconut flakes as decoration on the ground and press firmly.
  7. For hardening for about 2-3 hours in the refrigerator or the freezer make, best weight with a heavy object. Then remove the mass from the mold and cut into 2-3 cm thick slices, the cereal bar is finished.
